was born in Washington D.C. to an American father and Italian mother. A graduate of the Tisch School of the Arts and the Stella Adler Conservatory, she won the "Outstanding Achievement award" in '91. While working off-Broadway, she interpreted ERENDIRA by Gabriel Garcia Marquez with Miriam Colon at the Spanish Repertory Theatre and was nominated for the ACE Award in '94. In 1995, she moved to Rome where she has worked in film, television and theatre, including the English Theatre of Rome's production of "Freudian Slips and Other Underwear." She also performed in the Italian version of "Singles" four years running, in Rome and on tour throughout Italy. Alexia is fluent in French, Italian, English, and Spanish and has two children.
