Shelagh Stuchbery joins us for the first time as Meg in The Birthday Party by Harold Pinter. Shelagh trained as actress and then went on to the Royal College of Music in London gaining her diploma in singing and opera. Since then she has worked extensively as an actress and opera singer principally in London and Rome. Her most recent theatrical roles in Rome have included Teresa in Stephenson’s Memory of Water, Diana in Neil Simon’s California Suite, Melanie in Simon Gray’s Quartermaine’s Terms, Mrs Swab in Alan Bennet’s Habeas Corpus, Meg Page in Shakespeare’s The Merry Wives of Windsor and Billy’s mother in the film Bill.
